Lesbian Love Movie Produced By C'River-Born Lesbian To Be Released Online To Avoid Ban

A lesbian love movie titled 'รŒfรจ', produced by Cross River State-born lesbian, Pamela Adie, is set to be released online to avoid ban by National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB).

In the yet to be released movie, two young women fill the screen, reclining on a bed, talking about their hope of having children.

Same-sex relationships in Nigeria is a crime and it is punishable by up to 14 years in prison.

The producer  Pamela Adie said "Ife" - which means "love" in the Yoruba language widely spoken in southwest Nigeria - would be released online to avoid any possible move by censors to ban it.

"I really feel that the censors board is playing a big part in stopping these kinds of stories from coming to the big screen... and it is just really stifling creativity," said Adie, who declined to provide a release date.

A trailer released online in July shows the women discussing their love and, as one character phrased it, the fear of being forced to choose between your family and happiness.

"The role of film is not to say 'this is right, or not'. I think that the role of film, and a filmmaker, is to portray reality as it is," said Adie.

Nobody has yet been convicted under the law banning same-sex relationships, which came into effect in 2014.

The controversial Obudu-born gay right activist had in 2018, announced that she was getting married to her lesbian partner.

Ubi Franklin
The CEO of Made Music Group and an aide to Governor Ben Ayade, Ubi Franklin says he attempted suicide several times after he was cyberbulled on Instagram.

Franklin said he was bullied on social media a few years ago which made him depressed and resulted in several failed attempts at committing suicide.

"I watched this video of IZU reading out his suicide note before he took his life and I remembered doing this several times 3 years ago unsuccessfully and I am here today," he tweeted.

"I got bullied so much on Instagram in the last two years that I started getting depressed again and this time I told myself “Ubi” who are these people talking about you? Do you know them or their families?"

"Everyone has something they are hiding and won’t tell the public but go on social media to bully others of things that they also have done or their parents have or their brothers, sisters, and friends have done."

"Everyone has something they are hiding and won’t tell the public but go on social media to bully others of things that they also have done or their parents have or their brothers, sisters, and friends have done."
Franklin says he is using his platform to rewrite his wrongs because of the people who look up to him as their role model.

"So I started using my platform to speak against the mistakes I have made in life that I feel can be avoided by someone watching my lives or reading about how I have turned my dark days into brighter/ beautiful days and letting people know the truth that is not always told on SM,"

He continued:
"Social media is full of controlled narratives, the things that don’t make social media that I know are many. Do married men come on social media to say they have multiple girlfriends? Or do married women come on social media to they have a side guy/guys?"

Regina Daniels And All My Other Wives Were Virgins Before I Married Them - Ned

Billionaire philanthropist and former Nigerian senator, Ned Nwoko says he married Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels and his other wives as virgins.
He made this known in an interview with PUNCH, where he also talked about falling in love with the Nollywood actress the first day he met her.
Hear him: “Why not Regina? When I met her, I didn’t even know who she was because I don’t watch movies, whether British, Nigerian or American. Also, I am not a social media person. Up until that time, I didn’t have Facebook or Instagram accounts.
“So, I didn’t know about Regina until she came to my house with her family on a tour. My house in the village (Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State) is a tourist attraction of sorts.
“I liked her when I saw her, especially when I found out that she was from that place. I had always wanted to have somebody (a wife) from my side. We were introduced to each other and one thing led to another. That was when I found out she is a very decent girl.
“I have always said that I wouldn’t marry anybody who isn’t a virgin and that is very important to me. When I found out that she was a virgin, it reinforced my decision to marry her. I married all my wives as virgins,” he said.
On her part, Regina Daniels explained what it felt like being married to the 59-year-old; “I feel free. I can do whatever I want, dress how I like, live my life the way I want to. My husband is always pushing me to be a better person. He wants me to be more exposed and see the world in a different way. As a matter of fact, there are many things I enjoy about the marriage that I cannot explain.”

Nigerian Singer, Don Jazzy Reveals Real Reason Why He Is Yet To Get Married

Don Jazzy

Popular Nigerian record producer, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy or Don Baba J has revealed real reason why he is yet to get married, reports Grassrootreportersng.com

The 38-year old singer, who many had questioned his bachelorhood despite his affluence, said on Twitter that he's been in entanglement for a long time.

He wrote on said:
"Jazzy get married get married. Me that i have been in an entanglement sinceeeee".

The music star had before now given reasons why he's yet to marry in separate interviews.

In an interview last year with " Street Hop", a Hip Hop TV programme, the music mogul said:

"There are a lot of amazing people, that's why I can't pick one. It doesn't have anything to do with my status. I have trust issues but I feel like even if I wasn't Don Jazzy, I probably would be the same."

In another interview with Saturday Beats, he added that he is in a relationship but has lots of work to do on himself before taking the crucial decision.

“I don’t bring up issues about my relationship status on purpose. People always talk about it.

“It is not difficult to find a wife; there are many beautiful women out there. It is not like I am ready; I am not the perfect version of what I would like to be to my wife and family.

“I want to work on myself until I am ready. By the time I am ready, if someone still wants to be with me, that would be great.

“It is not like I am looking for a wife and cannot find one. There are lots of nice and beautiful ladies out there. I don’t think I am there yet. I am not in a hurry.

“If time passes and nobody wants to marry me, then so be it but for now, I don’t feel I have worked on myself enough.

“I don’t want a scenario where I would get married and my music or business would take me away and the next thing would be that my wife would start complaining that I am hardly around. Then people would start saying he doesn’t care about his family. I don’t need that type of talk in my life.
Continuing, he said:
“Let me be on my own, whenever I am ready, I am ready. I have a girlfriend; I have had different girlfriends in the last 10 years. I can’t just be single; I never said I was celibate. The relationship can break, she can leave me and go, and it is possible.

“My other ex-girlfriends left me, they didn’t break my heart, they just moved on, some of them are married now, if they were still waiting for me, they won’t be married by now.

“People have their personal agendas and it is understandable. For me, I am not in a hurry". He said.

This means you may be promoting scam in the name of advertising their business on your Instagram page. You should be able to do a background check before making money from advertising for them. This reason you gave here is not sufficient enough to exonerate you sir.

Just listen to yourself. “They only paid to place an advert on my Instagram page months ago which was taken down after 24hrs.” It has everything to do with you because people would’ve patronized them all because of you.

Good Morning Sir,
, You are at a point in your life where anything you point to, talk about or associate with is automatically directly or indirectly endorsed by you. it therefore behooves on you to only allow those businesses you can vouch for to associate with you.
