By Obio Monday The governoship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu is set to emerge winner of the 2023 governorship election in Cross River State. Senator Otu is currently leading the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Sandy Onor with a wide margin after collation of results from 15 out of 18 Local Government Areas by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Senator Otu won in 13 LGAs while Senator Onor won in 2 LGAs. Boki, Obanliku, Akamkpa LGAs results will be announced today as collation resumes by 9am.
