When you move into some of our interior areas, you will see culverts and other serious developmental works built by Sir (Michael) Okpara. So the Igbo have contributed immensely so the socio-economic development of this state. I have been to this palace a couple of time anytime I am here, I always come out tops in whatever election I contest. So this is a very familiar terrain to me.

If you look carefully in our society, you will realize that we do not have a middle class. So we want to creat a middle class in our society. Now the middle class serves as a buffer between the very poor and the very rich. And if you ask me how we will do it, I will leverage on the industrial facilities we have around today and see how we can create employment by utilizing those industries”

We were all here when it started with Donald Duke, and it is only proper that it begins again from the south. We are sure that you will win, but when you win please try and ensure that the Calabar port works and also that the tax rate in the state is reduced” said the Eze Igbo.
