The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu has been declared the winner of the 2023 Cross River State governorship election held on Saturday.
Senator Otu defeated his closest opponent, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Senator Sandy Ojang Onor.
Otu scored a total of 258,619 while Onor garnered 179,636.
The APC won 15 local governments while PDP won 3 LGAs out of the 18 in the state.
