The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi has defeated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to win the presidential election in Cross River State.

Mr. Obi polled a total of 179,917 votes to defeat Tinubu who garnered 130,520 votes.

PDP scored a total of 95,425 votes to come third.
