Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has won Ebonyi South Senatorial election despite losing polling unit.

The governor defeated Labour Party’s candidate, Linus Okorie to emerge winner.

The INEC returning officer, Prof. Augustine Ogugua Egwu of Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu Alike Ikwo, announced the results in Afikpo North LGA headquarters.
