Early results received from different polling units in Cross River Northern Senatorial District indicates that Governor Ben Ayade of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is trailing Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

GRASSROOT REPORTERS’ correspondent gathered that the governor is trailing in Obanliku and parts of Obudu urban.

Senator Jarigbe is also said to be leading in Ogoja Local Government Area.

Results from Bekwarra Local Government Area shows that the Sen. Jarigbe defeated the governor with wide margin.

It was gathered that Sen. Jarigbe won all the wards in Obanliku Local Government Area.

Early results also shows Mr. Peter Akpanke of the PDP is leading the APC candidate in Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku Federal Constituency.
