The All Progressives Congress (APC) suffered double losses in Cross River State in its bid to return its serving lawmakers from northern Cross River State back to the Green Chambers.

Incumbent Member representing Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Legor Idagbo of the APC lost to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Mr. Peter Akpanke.

GRASSROOT REPORTERS' correspondent reports that Mr. Akpanke was declared the winner by the Returning Officer, Mr. Callistus Ubleble having scored a total of 32,576 votes to defeat Hon. Legor Idagbo who polled a total of 25,819 votes.

Labour Party recorded 3,529 votes to come third.

In Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, serving member, Hon. Jude Ngaji of the APC lost to the PDP candidate, Barr. Godwin Offiono.

Barr. Offiono scored a total of 36,642 while Hon. Ngaji scored 32,964 votes.
