A yet-to-be-identified final year student has been shot dead while some students were injured during a cult clash at the University of Cross River (UNICROSS), formerly known as CRUTECH, located in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
GRASSROOT REPORTERS’ correspondent reports that the incident has paralyzed academic activities in the institution.
Eyewitnesses told our correspondent that the clashes started at about 11am while students were taking their second semester exams.
It was gathered that the corpse of the final year student was taken away by the rival cult group.
The latest clash is said to be between Vikings and Klans cult.
