As Crossriverians continue to decry the deplorable and abysmal slide in governance in all its facets, the health care industry is not spared, aggravated by the now hallowed pyramids of refuse across all nooks and crannies of the metropolis and once destination of environmental friendliness. 

The people are been bedevilled by not just the hardship inflicted by the current administration but crass failure and subsequent exposure to worries and resultant health conditions like- Hypertension from worries,  rise in blood sugar levels following relegation to only available carbohydrates food sources (proteins are veggies now out of reach and for just the bourgeoisie).

A group of concerted dedicated professionals under the aegis of HEALTH PROFESSIONALS FOR SANDY (HP4S) - led by Dr Ogar Emmanuel Idoko (DG) who also doubles as Director of Medical Committee of the Campaign Council decided to help out in Health promotion activities of  Assessment, early diagnosis, interventions and care of our people as its own contribution in assisting the retake, reclaim and recovery of our health care Industry.

There were very conspicuous during the last PDP State Campaign Council (SCC) Inauguration were members of the SCC had their BP checked, Blood Sugar checked, Urinalysis done and their Oxygen saturation evaluated due to exposure to unclean air. 
The Governorship aspirants of the PDP- Distinguished Senator Prof. Sandy Ojang Onor (KSG), his running mate and Deputy Governorship Aspirant - Lady Emana Amahwe- Duke ,Barr. Venatius Ikem - State Party Chairman, Hon. Ekpo Okon - Senatorial Candidate for the South, Hon. Peter Akpanke(The Rock)- candidate for the HOR for the Obudu, Bekwarra & Obanliku federal Constituency and most of the State Executive members of the Party were all beneficiaries of these Medical Services.

For a guaranteed better Cross River, we must guarantee the health of the populace. Wealth shall be made if we are and stay healthy.
