A physically challenged Nigerian man identified as Alika Ogochukwu has been murdered in broad daylight by a yet-to-be-identified Italian man.

GRASSROOT REPORTERS gathered that the incident happened in Corso Umberto, Civitanova Marche, Italy at about 2pm, July 29, 2022, with passersby watching and filming the incident.

A video of the incident obtained by GRASSROOT REPORTERS shows both men engaging in a fight, with the Italian man overpowering Ogochukwu and thereafter, used Ogochukwu’s crutch to hit him, leading to his death.

It was also gathered that the Italian police ambulance services rushed to the scene of the incident in an attempt to revive Ogochukwu but their efforts failed as he was already dead.

The late 39-year-old Ogochukwu who lived in San Severino March was said to have had an accident which led to his disability and resorted to begging to survive.

A source said the Italian got angry after Ogochukwu allegedly talked to a woman he (Italian) was walking with.

The man was later arrested by the police.
