Three years before the next gubernatorial election in Cross River State, the campaign poster of one of the contenders, Hon. Daniel Asuquo is already out.

Hon. Asuquo, who is currently representing Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency in Nigeria’s House of Representatives has not openly declared his intention to run for the number one seat in the state, but those close to him said he is nursing the ambition to take over from Governor Ben Ayade, whose tenure expires in 2023.

The poster, widely circulated on social media is said to be sponsored by a group known as Dansuki Diaspora Support Group. It is however not clear if those who printed the posters got the support of Hon. Asuquo, popularly known as Dansuki.
