Ghanaian actress Akuapam Poloo (real name Rosemond Brown) has been arrested.
The actress was heavily criticised following a nude picture she posted on her son’s birthday to celebrate him. She said she posed nude before him because she gave birth to him naked.
According to reports, the actress has been sent to the headquarters of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVSU) around the Ministries in Accra.

The department of Criminal Department of Investigations (CID) of the Police service had invited her for questioning after the picture went viral, drawing criticism from child right activists.
The Ghana Police service on Thursday July 1st disclosed in an interview on Okay FM that Akuapem Poloo was yet to honor their invitation and has given her a grace period to do so. Superintendent Mike Baah stated that failure for the actress to honor the invitation will result in the actress being arrested, as a criminal arrest warrant will be issued from the court of law to get her arrested.
