The demolished building

A combined team of the police, Department of Security Services (DSS) and the army today demolished and set ablaze the house of a suspected kidnapper, Edet Effiong Nyong, at Esiere Ebom, close to the Calabar beach market.

According to a News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent in Calabar, security reports shows that  Edet was responsible for the kidnap of the father of the former Director of DSS and a  relative of the former deputy governor of Cross River State, Barr. Efiok Cobham.

Findings also show that the suspect was released from prison last year and thereafter, he went into kidnapping again.
