A member of the Cross River State House of Assembly representing Obudu State constituency, Hon. Godwin Akwaji has died from symptoms suspected to be Covid-19.
Sources say Hon. Akwaji has been exhibiting Coronavirus-like symptoms and was taken to the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar where he was isolated at the hospital’s isolation centre. He died at the centre today.
Grassroot Reporters understands that his sample has been collected and taken to Ebonyi State for testing.
