Manchester United sealed a dramatic last-minute deadline day deal to sign Odion Ighalo on Friday night.
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sealed the signing of former Watford striker Ighalo from Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua until the end of the season.
United fought off a late bid from former boss Jose Mourinho and Tottenham to hijack the move, securing the former Nigeria international.
Under the terms of the deal, United will pay a loan fee of around £5million up front, plus half of Ighalo’s £300,000-a-week wages.
The deal was confirmed just before 10.30pm on Friday night, just half-an-hour before the transfer window shut until the summer.
