An aide to President Muhammadu Buhari has lampooned Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe for calling on President Buhari to resign for failing to tackle the security issues confronting the country.
Abaribe spoke after the Senate Leader, Yahaya Abdullahi, presented his motion on rising security challenges in the country.
Abaribe said “If you want to treat an issue, you go to the head. We did not appoint the IG or the security chiefs. We will go to the president and ask him to resign,” Abaribe said.
The Senator added that he was surprised why the president will claim to be surprised at the rising insecurity in the country.

She continued “when @atiku said there’ll be more herdsmen killing if @mbuhari was re-elected, who said anything?
How many stones did Abaribe throw?”. She queried.
“Please throw the first stone. We are waiting. Abaribe has tried with Nnamdi Kanu, to rip this nation apart and failed”
